María Peláe (Málaga, 1990) started to perform on stage with she was 16, and since then she mainly toured small clubs. She is a follower and researcher of the work of some models like Enrique Morente and an enthusiast of the warmth of the “copla”, which she has known since she was a child. She has based her career on these roots combined with other styles like jazz, bossa nova or fado. After working with artists like Vanesa Martín, Javier Ruibal or Rozalén and releasing several albums she is currently starting a new phase, using the artistic name of “La Niña”, in which she combines the flamenco essence with contemporary sounds, and somehow adopting a banns style that takes close to rap.
