Juanfra Carrasco and Nono Reyes
Attracted by flamenco at a very early age, this young Extremadura cantaor began his career at the age of 15, with his participation in the program ‘Duende Flamenco’ on the regional television of Extremadura. A year later he participated in the prestigious Don Benito Flamenco Festival, sharing the board with figures such as Luis El Zambo or Miguel de Tena, and at 17 he moved to Seville to join the Cristina Heeren Foundation as a student, receiving classes from teachers such as José de la Tomasa, Calixto Sánchez or Julián Estrada. After finishing his stage preparation, he began to appear in competitions in which he mostly ends up with very successful results, having to his credit the prizes of the National contest ‘Ciudad de Carmona’, the Mayorga contest ‘Ciudad de de Plasencia’, the National contest de Valdemoro or the ‘Sol de Plata’ in the Lorca contest, among many others. In Flamenco on Fire 2021 he is accompanied by Nono Reyes, son of Antonio Reyes and guitarist who continues the family flamenco tradition.
