José del Tomate was born within a family of artists: his father was Tomatito and his grandfather was Miguel Fernández Cortés ‘El Tomate’.
As the saying goes “good rivers spring from good Wells” or “like father like son”. His goal is to design a repertoire and find his own song writing style. He finds inspiration in his previously learned skills and in the paths he has gone through, long enough already. He uses this inspiration to project his own style and express it through different beats that clearly reflect how a young from Almeria understands flamenco from his guitar.
